Guests judge a room in the first few seconds, and smell is part of that. AURA runs continuously in each room, treating the air between and during stays, with nothing for housekeeping to change.
The air challenge in hospitality
- Turnover. A new guest arrives every few days, bringing in whatever the last one left in the air.
- Lingering odors from smoke, takeout food, perfume and pets that soak into carpets and drapes.
- Musty rooms that stay closed between bookings, especially in coastal and humid locations.
- Reviews. "The room smelled" is one of the hardest complaints to recover from.
How AURA helps
AURA uses cold plasma to oxidize certain odor molecules and VOCs, rather than covering them with fragrance. It also charges fine particles so they settle or are caught by the HVAC filter, and can inactivate certain bacteria, viruses and mold spores under tested conditions.
Because it runs continuously with BOOST off, the room is being treated while it sits empty and while guests are in it.
Where to place units
| Space | Why it matters | Suggested units |
|---|---|---|
| Guest rooms and suites | The space guests judge | 1 per room, 2 for larger suites |
| Vacation-rental bedrooms | Closed rooms between bookings | 1 per bedroom |
| Rental living areas | Cooking and pet odors | 1 or 2 by size |
| Lobby and reception | First impression | 1 per 376 sq ft zone |
| Fitness room and spa | Sweat and humidity | 1 per room |
| Linen and storage rooms | Musty air in closed spaces | 1 |
For owners and operators
- No consumables. No filters to stock across dozens of rooms. A dry-cloth wipe every few weeks is the only maintenance.
- Remote control. Switch units on and off from the eWeLink app, useful for managing rentals from a distance.
- Secure mounting. Two-point wall mount keeps units in place.
- Smoke odor. AURA can help reduce lingering odors, but it is not a substitute for deep cleaning or professional odor remediation after heavy smoking.
AURA supplements HVAC filtration and ventilation; it does not replace them. Not a medical device; not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Laboratory results reflect specific test conditions and vary with room size, airflow, installation and use. Ozone statements apply with BOOST off.
