Modern homes are built tight to save energy, which means the same indoor air circulates for hours. AURA adds quiet, continuous air treatment to the rooms where your family spends the most time, with no filters to buy or change.
What builds up in the air at home
- Cooking odors that drift from the kitchen into living areas and linger in soft furnishings.
- Pet odors from litter boxes, beds and wet coats.
- Musty smells in closets, basements, guest rooms and bathrooms, especially in humid climates.
- VOCs released by new furniture, flooring, paint and cleaning products.
- Fine particles such as household dust and outdoor pollen that settle and get stirred up again.
How AURA helps
AURA uses cold plasma to treat the air inside the room it sits in. Its built-in fan draws room air through the treatment chamber, where three things happen:
- Odors and VOCs are oxidized, breaking down certain odor molecules rather than covering them with fragrance.
- Fine particles are charged so they clump and settle, or are caught by your HVAC filter.
- Certain microbes can be inactivated, including bacteria, viruses and mold spores under tested conditions.
A catalytic element inside every unit reduces ozone before air leaves the grilles. With the BOOST dial off, AURA is designed for continuous use in occupied rooms, including bedrooms overnight.
Where to place units
| Room | Why it matters | Suggested units |
|---|---|---|
| Primary bedroom | Eight hours a night in the same air | 1 |
| Living or family room | Most shared time; cooking odors drift in | 1, or 2 if over 376 sq ft |
| Nursery or kids' rooms | Doors often closed for naps and sleep | 1, mounted out of reach |
| Home office | Long hours with the door shut | 1 |
| Pet areas and laundry | Litter, bedding and damp odors | 1 |
| Basement or guest suite | Musty air in rooms used less often | 1 |
Good to know
- One unit treats one enclosed space up to 376 sq ft. Air does not travel well through closed doors, so plan by room.
- Mount on a wall or set on a shelf, with both grilles clear. Keep it away from showers, sinks and other wet areas, and not directly under an A/C unit.
- AURA draws 20 W at most and runs quietly. You can switch it on and off from the eWeLink app.
- Keep your HVAC filters in service. AURA supplements them; it does not replace them.
- Anyone with respiratory sensitivities should check with a physician before extended use of any air treatment device.
AURA supplements HVAC filtration and ventilation; it does not replace them. Not a medical device; not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Laboratory results reflect specific test conditions and vary with room size, airflow, installation and use. Ozone statements apply with BOOST off.
